The education world is excited, as Quizizz recently released a feature that allows you to import Google Forms with just one click. Cool, right? But please, think before you click!
NGPF provides unit exams, summative assessments, and even exit tickets for all our courses in Google Forms, because we know that many teachers appreciate the ease of grading. And, for those who don't use Google products, we also provide all those same assessments as Google docs that can be downloaded as PDFs, word documents, etc. Another reason your teacher colleagues from around the country appreciate those resources is that they're not only free and high quality, but they're relatively well secured.
That goes out the window if you upload them all to Quizizz though, as each Quizizz defaults to being publicly accessible, and only certain paid plans have the option of making their Quizizz private. You will be giving everyone on the internet (including students) access to the questions and the answers. Please do not do that.
We love quiz games as much as the next person, and that's why we've already created unit-by-unit Review decks in Quizlet, Kahoot, and Quizizz. We hope those help your students prepare for their exams and/or have fun learning new content. But again, please do NOT upload the NGPF assessments or exit tickets into Quizizz (or any other 3rd party platform for that matter). We appreciate your support and respect for our materials.
When I started working at Next Gen Personal Finance, it's as though my undergraduate degree in finance, followed by ten years as an educator in an NYC public high school, suddenly all made sense.
