Earlier this month, teachers like you collectively racked up a milestone number of NGPF professional development hours since we started tracking in 2017. How many hours? Hint: It's the same number as the total number of libraries around the world and the total amount of road miles in California in 2021.
As of July 2023, teachers in the NGPF network have participated in more than 400,000 hours, or nearly 46 years, of NGPF professional development.
The NGPF team is in awe of your dedication to continued learning as this means your students are staying up-to-date with the latest finance information and acquiring more financial knowledge and skills from you. While we can quantify the hours, we can't count all the lives you've improved by helping students understanding how to manage money better.
Since 2017, over 17,500 unique teachers have attended NGPF PD sessions. This includes:
"Every course, whether on-demand or virtual PD, has taught me something of value I can share with my students as well as make improvements in my personal life." - Cassandra Mosley, Business Education Teacher
Want to keep the momentum going to 500,000 hours? Register for free NGPF PD and you’ll be enrolled in NGPF Academy, where you earn prizes and swag just for learning online.
