If you joined us for Saturday's Financial Literacy Month Virtual Conference, you already know April is packed with great professional development. And there's more on the way; I'm hosting two live teacher panels over the next two weeks, and I'd love for you to be there!
Both sessions feature real teachers sharing what's working in their classrooms. These will be candid conversations and a live Q&A where you can bring your own questions.
What does AI usage actually look like in a personal finance classroom? I'll be sitting down with James Meadows, Dr. Wally T. Luckeydoo, and Erin Ferris, three teachers who are actively integrating AI into their teaching practice. They'll share how they're using AI tools to plan lessons, support students, and save time, plus what they've learned along the way.
Whether you're already experimenting with AI or still figuring out where to start, this conversation will meet you where you are.
Personal finance education doesn't stop at the bell. I'll be joined by Christopher Jackson and Kerri Woodward, two teachers who have found effective ways to bring parents into the conversation. They'll share strategies for encouraging financial discussions at home and building a support system that extends learning beyond the classroom.
If you've ever wondered how to get families more involved in what students are learning, this one's for you.
These panels are just a slice of what's coming up. Check out the full Virtual PD schedule to see everything on the calendar, including Speaker Series and us rerunning a few April Conference sessions. See you at a PD soon!
