A Houghton graduate, Dougherty's coaching philosophy, centered on team culture, has significantly impacted various programs, from Eastern Mennonite University to Paul Smiths College, leading to remarkable achievements on and off the field. In this session, he will discuss his approach to rebuilding the Paul Smiths Nordic Ski team into a national powerhouse and his unique insights into developing character and excellence in athletes.
